What we do
Evaluation
Defining and developing evaluation standards. Evaluation of needs, processes and results: feasibility studies, ex-ante appraisals, formative, summative and impact evaluations. Meta-evaluation. PEFA public financial management assessment.
Research and analysis
Public policy analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, statistical modelling, demographic analysis, surveys, interviews and focus groups.

How we work

Step 1
Scoping and protocol
We clarify with you the questions the study must answer, the evaluation criteria to apply, the sources available and the schedule constraints. This stage produces a written protocol — and, where the subject requires it, an ethics committee submission.

Step 2
Field data collection
Instrument design, enumerator training and supervision, quantitative and qualitative collection. Our forms work offline and synchronise once connectivity returns: no data lost, no double entry.

Step 3
Analysis and triangulation
Statistical processing, qualitative analysis, cross-checking of sources. We systematically test the numbers against the field interviews before concluding anything.

Step 4
Debrief and ownership
Reporting in your donor's required formats, a debrief workshop, and a transfer of skills to your teams. A successful assignment is one you could repeat without us.

Our services run on our own platform
Our monitoring and evaluation assignments are delivered with MELR, the platform we designed and built. Logical framework, indicators, offline field collection, PEFA and ex-ante assessments, donor-format reporting: our clients get a proven tool rather than improvised spreadsheets.
